Costume jewelry with the “wow” power.
A colored and sparkling imaginary world
Alison Briquet studied fashion and luxury marketing before joining legendary couture jewelry house Boucheron, where she honed her creative talents and developed her unique approach of aesthetics. In 2010, she launched Crezus, amused by the idea of giving her brand the name of an ancient king with a reputation of extreme opulence (Cresus was the king of Lidia, today’s western Turkey). Yet for all the lavishness they may exhibit her designs would always be tinged with lightness.
Designed from a more instinctive than rational approach, this is costume jewelry with the “wow” power. Influenced by Native American culture, turning the affordable, yet ultra-chic, fantasy jewelry into rich, bold statements.
The Crezus collections are a window into a colorful and sparkling world. Matt or glossy, Swarovski crystals set the tone in Crezus’ collections. Handcrafted in her Parisian atelier, each piece comes to life at the hands of Alison, a fantasy with an edgy twist born out of the designer’s imaginative world.
Crezus has seduced many outlets in France and abroad: Bon Marché and Franck et Fils in Paris, Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong as well as Barcelona, London, Tokyo, Dubai, Brussels, Montreal, New York, Seoul… and now on DivaNoor, to the delight of the middle eastern’s audience.
Handcrafted bold jewellery
Crezus’ pieces focus on the generosity of the shapes and volumes, a skill the design learned during her time working at Boucheron. The jewels stand out as rich and audacious while preserving the lightness of fantasy jewellery. The designer uses Swarovski to adorn her creations. The incredible variety of the stones lands their richness to the designer’s creations. The conception and fabrication of the pieces are realized by the designer in her small Parisian workshop, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
